Directing Safely
This course aims to provide directors/owners of companies with an understanding of the moral, legal and business case for proactive health and safety management and to give guidance on effective risk management strategies. It is intended for people with strategic responsibility for determining and implementing effective health and safety management within an organization.
Delegates learn about the legal implications of failing on health and safety management and study accidents and incidents in the context of loss. The terms ‘negligence’, ‘absolute duty’ and ‘so far as reasonably practicable’ are also examined and understood.
